FST work with flip to deliver dynamic and comprehensive Disability Equality Training that responds to the needs of each organisation and situation. Training can be tailored to address different areas of activity, staff concerns and outcomes. From customer care and front of house through to the boardroom, flip will guide you through training that builds confidence and knowledge to inform action. flip tailor activity to respond to clients desired outcomes and is flexible enough to be responsive should issues transpire during sessions. Flip is also responsible for the design of the Access Scottish Theatre guide.
Abigail is a consultant and facilitator who works with individuals and teams to develop strategies towards defining and achieving success. This can include vision and mission development; business and marketing planning; research and evaluation. Abigail, along with colleagues Paul Pinson and Jane Hogg, pioneered the Step Up mentoring programme in 2008 as a capacity building initiative to provide individuals (mentees) with support from a critical and experienced ally (mentor) from their sector. Andonella is a Learning & Development specialist with 24 years’ experience. She’s worked with us on various inter-personal skills training courses. She has an informal style, so attendees can identify issues and work on them in a relaxed environment. She is an enthusiastic trainer who focuses on helping people maximise their potential. A qualified Business Coach, Andonella adopts coaching skills to encourage participants to push the boundaries for success.
Catherine, a director of CBTS training, is acknowledged as one of the leading customer service trainers in Scotland. Since 1995 CBTS has specialised in soft skills training for the arts world, tourism and hospitality. The company has developed and delivered a wide range of courses in Customer Service and Selling Skills as well as Negotiating and Influencing Skills, Assertiveness Training and Networking Skills. For many years Catherine has also been involved in VQ assessment for Customer Service and Management and she remains a tireless campaigner for improved customer service across all sectors.
Based in Glasgow, Kate is a freelance Consultant and Producer of theatre, dance, public and live art. Currently she is Consultant Producer with David Leddy/Fire Exit (Glasgow); other companies and artists she has worked with include Subject to Change (London), Made in China (London), Eilidh MacAskill (Glasgow), Dancing Brick (Milton Keynes), NVA (Glasgow), Artichoke (London), Andy Manley (Edinburgh), Barrowland Ballet (Glasgow), Gate Theatre/Dance Umbrella (London), The Work Room (Glasgow), Stillmotion (Glasgow), Unlimited Theatre (Leeds), Arcola Theatre/Iceni Productions (London), Necessary Angel (Canada), Byre Theatre (St Andrews) British Council (Scotland and London) and for many years she was Executive Producer with Theatre Babel. She has has taken small, mid and large scale performances to theatres throughout the UK and to leading venues, national theatres and festivals across the world in countries as diverse as Canada, Malaysia, The Philippines, Taiwan, USA, Japan, Brazil and India. Kate has been the recipient of three SAC Professional Development Awards, an FST/Creative Scotland Producer’s Bursary, has represented her clients at events such as APAP and IETM and has taught at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
Sally is the Marketing and Communications Director for Imaginate. For the last 12 years, Sally has specialised in audience development and arts marketing in the Children and Young People’s theatre sector, and prior to her current post managed Young Audiences Scotland. She has also held the posts of Marketing Manager for the Royal Lyceum, Sales and Marketing Director for The List and Chief Executive of Audiences Northern Ireland. As a freelance Arts Marketing and Audience Development Consultant, Sally also worked for the Scottish Arts Council, the National Theatre of Scotland, the City of Edinburgh Council, East Lothian Council and West Lothian Council and as a visiting lecturer for both under-graduate and Masters students at Queen Margaret University.
