Marketing and Communications Manager
Agnieszka is responsible for FST’s communications strategy, including the monthly FST members’ e-bulletin, managing website copy and social media for FST and for our projects: Made in Scotland and Culture Counts. She also assists other members of FST Team to publicise and promote various events, training sessions and projects we run. Agnieszka is also one of the CRP (Critical Response Process) Facilitators.
Agnieszka has over 8 years’ experience of working in a variety of marketing roles across a range of sectors, including a marketing design agency and a social enterprise organisation.

Amanda is responsible for FST’s membership and event programming including quarterly members’ meetings and FST’s annual Emporium. Her role also includes company administration, operational and personnel management and assisting the Director in finance and fundraising.
Amanda has worked variously in literature development and arts management and administration over many years. Since starting her career at the Brunton Theatre she has held posts with Scottish Book Trust, literaturetraining, Scottish Ballet and The Scottish Government among others. Most recently she was General Manager of Toonspeak Young People’s Theatre.

Health and Safety Advisor
Andrew provides health and safety audits, advice, support and training to FST members and the wider creative sector.
Andrew is a chartered health and safety professional with more than 20 years health and safety experience gained in a wide variety of work sectors and roles, including consultancy.

Emma Jane Beatt
Training and Professional Development Manager
Emma is responsible for FST’s training and development activity including training courses, Producer and Assistant Director Bursaries, FST Mentoring Programme, Technical Winter School and the Creative Production and Technical Skills Project whilst Kirsty Bailey is on Maternity Leave.
Emma originally trained in Contemporary Dance graduating with a degree from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. Emma has worked in the performing arts sector for over 15 years as a performer, development officer, producer and general manager for organisations such as Dundee College at The Space, Barnardos Scotland, Smallpetitklein Dance Company, Room to Manoeuvre and All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre.

Hazel has taken the role of Interim Director at FST until the recruitment for the new Director is completed. She is responsible for FST’s overall operations, leading on advocacy and representing the interests of the sector across a range of forums and on the development of new services and programmes to support FST’s overall goals and the needs of the membership.
Hazel has over 25 years experience in the Arts and Theatre sector as a practitioner, maker, programmer and producer.
Prior to taking on the role of Interim Director of FST Hazel was Service Manager for Artistic and Creative Development at Fife Cultural Trust. Her previous roles include Head of Programming and Development at ON at Fife and Arts and Theatres Trust Fife where she led the development of the theatre, arts and producing programmes and the creation of community based site-specific productions, events and festivals.
Hazel is also a trained mentor and coach and an expert in funding, strategy and enterprise development within the arts and culture sector.

Margie is responsible for FST’s finance and administration systems. This includes invoicing, payments, supplies and maintaining the members’ database.
Margie has been working in finance and administration for the better part of forty years, with experience working for large and small organisations in varying capacities. She has been with FST since 1998 and can usually be found behind the registration desk at members meetings and events.

Membership and Events Assistant
Ruth is responsible for supporting FST recruitment and management of member relations and the delivery of events and meetings.
Ruth has a degree in English Literature and Classics from The University of Edinburgh. Since graduating she has worked for several arts and culture organisations including The Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Most recently she was Workshops and Events Administrator at Evaluation Support Scotland
