Five-day course during EIF is a great opportunity for ambitious producers, programmers and performers

International Festival Encounters: Developing Artistic Entrepreneurship is an immersive and inspiring summer school in Edinburgh. It takes place between 22 and 26 August 2014, with the application deadline of 3rd July 2014. There is a tuition fee of  £450  and bursaries are available.

The course is a partnership between the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the University of Edinburgh and the Edinburgh International Festival. The course will run during the world’s biggest international arts festival and seeks to attract ambitious producers, programmers and performers working at early postgraduate level and above or who are already engaged in a career in the arts.

Participants will immerse themselves in festival events and enjoy a series of encounters with key figures in the arts including the Edinburgh International Festival Director, Sir Jonathan Mills, Director Designate Fergus Linehan and Professor Simon Frith of the University of Edinburgh.
