HR Housekeeping *FREE FOR FST MEMBERS*

A company handbook is a useful tool which outlines an organisations HR policies and employee rights and responsibilities. Discover the key points to consider when creating/refreshing your HR policies and company handbook at this free event.

Tech for the Non-Technical (rescheduled)

Get an introduction into the world of tech to help you understand some of the concepts and principles behind the practical stuff. Please note: This event has been rescheduled due to severe weather earlier this month so there are limited places available.

Captioner Training
Monday 14-Thursday May 2018 | Edinburgh – venue tbc
Are you interested in making theatre and live performance accessible to audiences who are D/deaf or hard of hearing? We’re partnering with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society to offer four individuals the opportunity to train as freelance captioners at heavily subsidised rates.

Management Skills
Friday 18 May 2018 | 10.30am-2.30pm | Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh
If you haven’t had any formal training but need to manage a project and get the best from your team, this course offers the opportunity to explore different management techniques and learn the skills to help you become an effective manager.

Dealing with Difficult People

Uncomfortable dealing with tricky situations? This is a chance to learn how to improve your working relationships and develop skills to help tackle disputes or issues.

Working Towards Wellbeing – Summer 2018

The second of our bi-annual wellbeing check in sessions offers you an opportunity to learn, discuss, share and unwind.
