The Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival (SMHAF) is offering places for ten artists from any performance discipline to present scratch ideas as part of a scratch evening – 5 Ways To Begin – at their 2018 festival.
The event organisers are looking to curate a programme of original, interesting and high-quality ideas that explore mental health themes and artists can apply to present work at one of two evenings: Saturday 19 May at Roxy Assembly, Edinburgh or Sunday 20 May at Flourish House, Glasgow.
5 Ways To Begin will an excellent place to explore new ideas and receive feedback from audiences. SMHAF Associate Artist Emma Jayne Park will support artists through a quick fire critical response process following their performance in order to gain the most from the audience insights.
