This session will teach you the basics of the Fair Work Framework and what it will mean for you as a freelancer or the organisation you work for.
The session is aimed at anyone who is dealing with fundraising applications, working as a freelancer or employing staff / working with freelancers within the sector.
This session will be run by FST and Barry Nichol from the Employment, Immigration and Pension team of Anderson Strathern solicitors.
Fair Work First is the Scottish Government’s flagship policy for driving high quality and fair work across the labour market in Scotland by applying fair work criteria to grants, other funding and contracts being awarded by and across the public sector. It requires employers to go beyond statutory employment rights and protections and adopt fair work practices within their organisations.
This event is programmed in response to FST’s ongoing Sector Strategy Development work. One of the key areas this focuses on is Fair Work and Wellbeing.
