We look forward to welcoming you, your fellow FST members and guest speakers for our 2023 AGM and regular Members Meeting.

What's on the agenda?

The morning will start with our Annual General Meeting followed by:

Fiona Sturgeon Shea, our Chief Executive, will share some headlines from the consultation and survey undertaken by the consultants, Kinharvie, into the future of FST.

Fiona McCurdy, Professional Development Manager, will give us an update on the latest training and development opportunities available for members.

Jeanie Scott from Culture Radar, Co-author of The Illustrated Guide to Fair Work, will lead a presentation on Fair Work, and how it affects you, whether you run or work in organisations or are a freelance or self-employed member.

In an open discussion session, you'll have the chance to propose a discussion, in a break-out group, on a topic or issue that matters to you.

So far, Jeremy Wyatt from the Ayr Gaiety Partnership would like to invite you to a chat about approaches members are taking to Covid protocols for this autumn and winter. If you would like to propose a topic in advance, just email hello@scottishtheatre.org or turn up on the day and share your thoughts in an informal session.

The meeting will include the AGM and FST Board elections in addition to ordinary business. The agenda for the AGM is now available on the website and attached.

Voting instructions

If you are unable to attend the AGM in person proxy votes can now be made online via SurveyMonkey here, proxy voting will close as required on 22 September.

For those of you who can attend the online AGM, voting will be completed via a link shared with you during the meeting. For organisation members, as always, it is your responsibility to delegate your one vote to a particular person so please liaise with colleagues in advance to avoid duplicate voting. We will share a list of member organisations for whom we have received proxy vote at the meeting to avoid duplication.

We want to make this session as accessible as possible and will provide live captioning for this online Zoom meeting. Captioning will be provided by Just Sign. If there is anything else we can do to respond to your access requirements, please get in touch with us by emailing FSTadmin@scottishtheatre.org to discuss.
