The existing Directors are; Liam Sinclair (Co-Chair), Rhona Matheson (Co-Chair) Annie George, Vicky Rutherford O’Leary, Rhona Matheson, Callum Smith (Treasurer), Louise Gilmour-Wills, Ben Torrie, Julie Ellen, Maria Oller, Simon Hart. You can find out more about the existing board here.
Vicky Rutherford O’Leary having served two consecutive terms is due to retire as a Director. Callum Smith being a director due to retire offers himself for re-election.
The Directors have determined that the FST Board shall number 10 Directors. We therefore seek to elect 2 Directors in total. Alongside the 1 Director who has offered themselves for re-election, there are 5 first-time nominations from members offering themselves for election.
Candidate Statements for the 5 candidates standing for first time election at the forthcoming AGM are available here.
If you are unable to attend the AGM on the 29 September then we have opened Proxy voting online here. The proxy vote will close at midnight on Thursday 24 September.
For those of you who can attend the online AGM, voting will be completed via a link shared with you during the meeting.
For full members, as always, it is your responsibility to delegate your 1 vote to a particular person so please liaise with colleagues in advance to avoid duplicate voting.
We will share a list of full member organisations for whom we have received proxy vote at the meeting to avoid duplication.
In the event that we receive both a proxy vote and live vote from the same full member organisation we will accept only the vote provided in advance.
In the event that 2 or more people from the same full member organisation vote during the ‘live voting’ we will only accept 1 vote and will have to refer to you to confirm your organisation’s selected candidate.
In order to verify the voting, we will not be announcing results on the day as usual but intend to do so by the following day.
