FST organises a number of networking events, members’ meetings and training sessions and offer these as a mix of live, online and hybrid events.

FST Bursary Clinic - September

The next bursary deadline is 27 September. The aim of this session is to answer any questions that you might have and share information and tips amongst each other. This session will be facilitated by the FST Professional Development Manager Fiona McCurdy. This session is aimed at anyone who intends to apply for the bursary, either as a host or bursary holder.

FST is preparing a third submission to the Scottish Parliament’s Constitution, Europe, External Affairs and Culture Committee’s call for views on funding for culture. Join us on Zoom at one of two information-sharing sessions on 27 July, to discuss the issues with colleagues and put your views forward for inclusion in FST’s submission.

Ecostage: Holistic sustainability for the performing arts

Discover Ecostage’s approach to placing ecological thinking at the heart of creative practice in this introduction to the Ecostage toolkit. Mona Kastell is an international award-winning ecological designer, shamanic practitioner, and one of Ecostage's co-directors, placing Nature, wellbeing, interconnectivity and authentic community engagement at the heart of her creative process. All performing arts practitioners at all stages and scales of production. We’re especially keen to reach out to producers, directors, stage managers and others who are part of the decision-making process.
