Due to Covid-19, Macrobert Arts Centre suspended activity in March 2020. Since August, thanks to the Performing Arts Venue Relief Fund, we have been able to open for cinema, with independent films and event screenings, welcoming people safely in to our building and providing online activity for audiences at home.
The next exciting step is for us to open up further by:
- delivering an extensive programme of creative and social activity;
- planning for a sustainable future with our community;
- engaging volunteers in a mental health support project;
- exploring and presenting new ways to entertain our audiences out with the venue.
To help us achieve this we are looking for Creative Learning Artists, working together with us to develop and deliver creative engagement in new ways, relevant to the circumstances and specific to your art form.
We are looking for creative practitioners who are inspiring and can be a positive role model. As well as being a fantastic facilitator, you will be an artist experienced in digital engagement, capable of delivering creative experiences for a variety of ages and stages.
We encourage applications from Artists with a background in theatre, dance, or other performance discipline, film, visual arts, craft, digital technology or design to apply.
Activity will initially be delivered online, however face-to-face activity will begin across Forth Valley when possible, which will require Artists to travel.
Successful applicants should ideally be able to start week beginning Monday 9th November 2020.
