Growing Creativity: Children’s Dance and Theatre – What Moves You and Frozen Charlotte.
For Performing and Teaching Artists at Citymoves in Aberdeen.
Wednesday 26 April from 10 – 3pm – including optional lunch visit to Aberdeen Art Gallery.
Led by What Moves You’s Director, Dawn Hartley and Frozen Charlotte’s Artistic Director, Heather Fulton and Associate Director, Brenda Murphy, this exploratory day offers transferable skills with practical, creative play in a supportive environment to artists with an interest in using dance and theatre to make work for children.
What to expect? Dawn, with dancers Niamh O’Loughlin and Laura Booth, will share movement skills and their experience of making effective interactive dance performance for My Friend Selkie.
NB No prior dance experience is required. We encourage everybody to enjoy moving in their own ways.
