Citizens Theatre is looking for experienced, organised and hands-on Production Managers to support three forthcoming productions.
Our Head of Production is leaving in mid-October to take up a new role at RCS. We are therefore looking for experienced Production Manager(s) to complete the delivery of three projects currently in progress. Depending on availability, Production Managers may wish to take on one or all of these projects.

Leading the get out of the production from the Citizens Theatre, Glasgow, and get in/out at tour venues: Dundee Rep; His Majesty’s Theatre, Aberdeen; Royal Lyceum Edinburgh.

Cinderella – Citz Christmas Production
Fee: £6,000
Leading the production management for our Christmas production CINDERELLA. White Card and costings are already underway, with final model box scheduled for w/c 7 September. The PM will
- liaise with the Director, Designer and creative teams on the design;
- Work with creative teams and in house departments to cost up the physical and labour production costs
- Lead weekly production meetings throughout rehearsals
- Work with in house Heads of Department’s on scheduling and staffing fit up, technical rehearsals and run
- Attend and run technical rehearsals
- Ensure all health, safety and licensing requirements are met in the rehearsal and performance spaces
- Monitor the production throughout the run
- Work with in-house Heads of Department’s to coordinate the strike

Leading the production management for our Spring 2027 production MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS GOT HER HEAD CHOPPED OFF. The PM will
- liaise with the Director, Designer and creative teams on the design;
- Attend and coordinate White Card and Final model box meetings
- Work with creative teams and in house departments to cost up the physical and labour production costs
- Lead weekly production meetings throughout rehearsals
