Young Quines Emerging Creative Practitioner – Stellar Quines

Young Quines brings young women together to explore their ideas and experiences through theatre-making. Young people who are non-binary, trans or exploring their gender identity are also welcome. Young Quines offers free theatre and drama groups for 14-18 years olds, weekly in Leven and in Kirkcaldy. There is also a Younger Quines group in Leven for 8-12 year olds. 

We are looking for a new person to join our team at Younger Quines in Leven. The role will be working with a Creative Practitioner to support the facilitation of a space that focuses on collaboration and co-creation, ensuring the young people are embedded in the planning and implementation of all activities. 

This freelance position is available from February to the end of June 2023. The fee is £180 for one day per week, during term-time, a total of 21 weeks (£3,780). 

We are keen to receive applications from people based in Fife who have experience of the communities in which we are working. 

We welcome applications from emerging creative practitioners or established artists looking to develop their participatory arts practice. This role is open to emerging artists/practitioners of any age. 

We are committed to supporting you in developing your practice through training and support.
