Ayr Gaiety Partnership Ltd is the social enterprise that took on and re-opened the iconic Ayr Gaiety Theatre in 2012.  Between our main house (500) and studio theatre (50-90) we mount a varied programme of around 250 performances a year.

 

Our programme includes music(30%), drama (15%), family (5%), dance (5%), panto (25%), variety (5%) and other including film (15%).

 

Around 20% of our shows are community and the rest professional.  In our first year we’ve presented NTS, Oran Mor, Ballet Cymru, Any Questions, McFalls Chamber Orchestra, Showaddywaddy, Reduced Shakespeare Company, Talon, Paul Daniels, Fred McAulay, Bay City Rollers and Michael Courtney’s Cinderella.  We will continue to present a varied programme to suit all tastes – with high quality standards being the common denominator.
