Cumbernauld Theatre creates vibrant, exciting, contemporary theatre which engages diverse audiences. We operate as a Centre for Creative Communities - developing professional theatre productions, delivering participatory projects and presenting the work of visiting artists from across Scotland and internationally at our friendly arts venue.
We are an ambitious organisation and proud to be so. We believe that the arts have the power to enrich all our lives, to nourish and sustain our communities, and to ask and answer difficult questions; promoting and developing discussion about who we are as individuals, families, communities and a nation. We are a meeting point for inspiring ideas and actively engaged in our community.
From our base we develop a broad range of artistic activity - from in-house productions, to national touring productions, international exchanges and professional artistic development programmes. We have a passion for the intelligent, the visual, the vibrant.
