Lyra
Lyra's vision is to have a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in the community of Greater Craigmillar through engagement with a broad, rich programme of world-class performing arts, regardless of age, race/ ethnicity or socio-economic factors.
Since 2012 Lyra has been building a community of children and artists who create and produce world-class live performance and art in Greater Craigmillar, Edinburgh.
Lyra runs Artspace, a vibrant venue in the heart of Craigmillar, with 116-seat theatre, a flexible studio and foyer designed by artists with young people. We work with arts professionals from Scotland and abroad to inspire young people, whilst attending to individual pastoral needs to enable participants to focus on their cultural engagement.
