Pitlochry Festival Theatre

Pitlochry Festival Theatre is a producer of high quality theatre that draws its audiences from across Scotland. In the main summer season PFT presents six plays in repertoire. The company employs a seasonal ensemble of actors and provides training opportunities for younger actors within this structure.
Over the last two years, new strands of activity have been added; the award-winning Active Arts programme of participatory arts and crafts for adults running throughout the year, and HiPer, a youth arts service for the children and young people of Highland Perthshire.
PFT's Winter Season consists of visiting companies across the range of performing arts, and includes two annual mini-festivals; Perthshire Amber, a traditional music festival in late autumn, and the Winter Words literature festival in January.
