Glasgow East Arts Company (GEAC) programmes and manages Platform, an aspirational and dynamic arts centre at the heart of The Bridge in Easterhouse.
Since opening in 2006 Platform has collaborated with and supported many top theatre companies, musicians, artists and dancers to bring a programme of international repute to local audiences. Based in the Glasgow East area, Platform has successfully integrated into the community and has strong links with local residents and groups who regularly access shows, events and services within the building.
GEAC sets a high quality tone through its area wide arts, events and cultural programme with genuine participatory opportunities underpinned by a community context.
