Amanda Glover

Since finishing my Honors Degree in Drama and Theatre Arts at Queen Margaret University Edinburgh, I have been working as a freelance Theatre Maker/Practitioner for Youth Music Theatre Scotland, Performing Arts etc, Fife Cultural Trust and Snap for Kids.
I have worked with a variety of age ranges from 1 year olds up to 25 and beyond. I frequently work on new writing projects based on Grimm fairy tales, one of which was recently on at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (2013) and have been involved in large scale production projects with young people such as Les Miserables SE, Jesus Christ Superstar and most recently the Scottish premier production of Phantom of the Opera Youth Edition.
Last year I was part of the team who created Banned the Belt which was a promenade piece at the Lochgelly Centre which focused on the life and timeline of the Lochgelly Tawse which was used in schools until it was banned in 1984.
I have also undertaken DSM roles for professional pantomimes in Kirkcaldy and have worked as a Project Coordinator for a project called Dancing Days, which was funded by Creative Scotland for Luminate Festival in October 2013.
