Morven is an actor and theatre maker, a facilitator, company producer and an accredited Relational Dynamics coach. She is currently Artistic Associate with award-winning Leeds-based theatre company Slung Low, who specialise in making epic productions in non-theatre spaces, often with large community performance companies at their heart. Everything the company does is rooted in the belief that access to culture is a fundamental part of a happy life, that actions, however small, can have a big impact, and that culture can change our world for the better.
Morven continues to be an Associate Practitioner with UK theatre company imitating the dog, whose work has, for over 25 years, explored the boundaries between theatre and technology, the recorded and the live. With the company, Morven has toured extensively both nationally and internationally, from Brazil to Azerbaijan, Lebanon to Taiwan, performing as well as facilitating workshop programmes and leading residencies.
Morven is a trained Mental Health First Aider, and an accredited RD1st Coach. All of her work and creative curiosity stems from a core belief that story-telling, and the human need to be heard, is fundamental to a functioning, flourishing society, one in which we surely want to live.
