BRAW project: audience development in the context of rural touring.

BRAW was a two-year project which aimed to examine audience development: artistic vibrancy, relevance and impact by deepening the relationships between three devising performers and three rural communities.

The aim of the project was to see if rural touring needs are different and, if so, how we could respond to those needs to develop better community engagement.

BRAW project’s website has a number of case studies from each of the three artists / companies and communities participating in it.
