Ginny Leigh

Ginny Leigh is an actor, dramaturg, and playwright based in Glasgow and Newcastle, specialising in new writing development. She collaborates as a dramaturg with the Glasgow Playwrights’ Collective, offers one-to-one feedback for emerging playwrights, and has scriptread for theatres and production companies including Seven Dials Playhouse and Goldman Picture Company. Her operetta The Tale of Peter Rabbit was licensed by Frederick Warne & Co. and performed during the United Reformed Church's Summer Season, and her play Red Light was longlisted for ScriptSpace 2023. Her work often explores the complexity of human connection, the nuances of loss and perspective, and the shifting relationship between time, space, and memory.
