Creative Scotland today opened applications for the Culture Organisations and Venues Fund. The total budget for this fund is £15 million and funding comes from the Scottish Government’s £59 million COVID-19 Emergency Funding commitment for Culture and Heritage. The fund aims to provide emergency support to organisations that provide opportunities for cultural engagement and have been unable to trade due to the impact of Covid-19.
Its primary aim is to protect jobs and to support the sustainability of organisations threatened by insolvency in the short to medium term. Applicants can apply for between £10k – £150k and up to £250k on an exceptional basis (see pg 7 of the Creative Scotland guidance document for more information).
All applications will be made via the online application portal.
The applications deadline is Thursday 24 September, 12 noon.
