Professionally Made, Professionally Paid: Equity agreements and how they can work for you
Training

Aimed at providing an introduction to the trade union, Equity, this free, online session is open to everyone but will be of particular value to those producers, companies or venues who engage performers and creative practitioners but currently do not have an Equity agreement in place.

Carbon Literacy
Training

Carbon Literacy training specifically developed for the performing arts. This one-day, in-person, course will help you improve environmental awareness within your work, prepare for the effects of the climate emergency, mitigate those effects and reduce your ecological footprint. Subsidised by 95% for FST members. Places limited.

Mental Health First Aid Check In
Training

This session has been set up to discuss the practicalities of putting your Mental Health First Aid or SAMH qualification to use in the workplace and what support might be useful.

Still Magic: Digital Creativity and Engagement in the Performing Arts
Seminar

A special day-long collaborative event between the Federation of Scottish Theatre (FST) and Creative Scotland exploring digital creativity and engagement. Open to non-members and FST-members. Includes lunch and a festive drinks reception. For FST members, it includes a short Members Meeting in the morning.

General Managers Meet Up & One to One Legal Surgeries
Online Meet Up

Join us for our regular General Managers Meet Up/Legal Surgery, this session is relevant to all those who hold similar operational roles including producers, Finance Managers, Directors or Chief Executives. Following the usual group discussion, we will also be offering free one-to-one legal surgeries in association with Anderson Strathern. Joining us for this meet up are Victoria Sampson and Barry Nichol. 

First Aid For Mental Health
Training

This qualification provides learners with the knowledge to recognise a wide range of mental health conditions and learn about the support/therapy provided by professional healthcare providers. You will learn how to start a supportive conversation and when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help. The 2.5hr sessions take place over three days.
